About Us

From its founding, by Rev. Dr. Kimberly Majeski, the singular purpose of Stripped Love has been to love. We believe that as Christ loves us, we are compelled to love women in the sex industry who otherwise might not know of God’s unconditional love.

Simply put, we believe love heals. Each woman on our team is surrendered to the power of God in her own life, and we cannot help but share God's love with our friends. We are convinced that God is calling us to bring God’s daughters home.

What We Do

Stripped Love serves women in sex trade in Central Indiana and equips and trains women in other communities to launch ministries such as ours in their towns and cities. Our ministry is focused in three areas:

Connect// Stripped Love is uniquely connected to both church and club, holding hands with soccer moms
and sex workers, helping them to find freedom in Christ.

Advocate//Stripped Love lives in intentional relationship with church and club, and as such, bears the
responsibility of telling the stories of one to the other. Because we know deeply women in sex trade,
we are able to bear witness to their gifts, graces and needs. Because our foundation is the church of Christ,
we are able to prophetically call the church to the ministry of reconciliation.

Educate//Stripped Love is passionate about the power of education to lift women and children out of
bondage and poverty and sexual slavery. We want to invest in the lives of children for early intervention
and women who want to rise beyond skill level deficits to achieve their dreams. We want to educate the
church and other community organizations on the horrors of domestic sex trafficking and invite them to
combat the humanitarian crisis of our times with us.

History

Stripped Love began in 2010 when a group of close friends led by Kimberly Majeski joined together, called by God to love women in sex trade. Originally Butterflies of Hope Outreach, the group existed for three years as a ministry of Madison Park Church, Anderson, Indiana.

Initially our work consisted of building intentional relationships with women who worked in a local club, visiting them consistently on Wednesday nights after Bible Study. We shared meals, homemade cookies, and our lives.

Through partnerships with area churches and ministry groups we are able to visit our friends on a bi-weekly basis, to bring gifts, share a smile, and offer consistent support. For women who choose to leave the trade, we provide for them in transition and connect them to services for after care.

We continue to serve under the mantle of love. Because many have joined to volunteer with us, we have increased the number of clubs we visit. And our vision has grown, as we work to launch similar ministries in Central Indiana and throughout the United States.

We now exist as Stripped Love, a 501(c)(3) non-profit helping women find the way home.

Vision

Vision: To empower women to walk out of fear and into love
Mission: We consistently show up and befriend women in sex trade loving them just as God loves us.
Our local goal is to raise up women to minister in the clubs of central Indiana, focusing on the I-69 corridor from northeast Indianapolis to Anderson and Muncie and the Hwy 31 corridor from Indianapolis to Marion and Kokomo. The Polaris Project has classified these areas as a “red zone” for sex trafficking.[2]

Our ministry model is already being replicated throughout the Indianapolis metro, equipping women in churches there to use their gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus in these dark places. With the right resourcing and connections, we believe that together we can create an intelligent, passionate, Spirit-filled movement to stop sex trafficking in our local communities.

Nationally, we are holding conversations with the Church of God, Anderson, IN and other churches in the Wesleyan Holiness tradition. By developing partnerships with the national church we are developing training workshops, print and video curriculum, preparing and equipping women in churches across the country to minister to those caught in sex trade. We will also establish a united vision with strategic goals to be implemented over a three year period (2014-2016).

We believe God is calling us to the revolution of love; to speak hope and grace, to hold hands and wipe tears, to listen and share hearts, to be light in the darkness that is sex trade.
